Catch 122 Cafe Bistro

Hello everyone!!

Long awaited blog on Catch 122, one of the finest brunches I've been to and with incredible pricing! Located in Gastown, right across from London Drugs. Two options for transportation, either drive down and pay for street parking or take the skytrain. The interior design of the place is right up my alley. I love the whole rustic look from the brick interior walls and the wooden tables. Our waiter was amazing, always there when we needed his help and provided excellent customer service. If you are planning to instagram your foodie pics from this place, you can also tag them @catch122. Kinda helping them advertise in a way but they actually look at your food photos and like them!

Now lets get on with the drinks & food! Phil & I ordered their drip coffee and it was so refreshing and it was one great damn cup of coffee! They also provided us with complimentary banana bread! It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. One of the tastiest banana breads I've tried! I would totally buy it if they were selling it, but they weren't.

So lets begin with the brunch dishes! All the brunch dishes are marked at $12.00 which is super affordable and worth the eat!

Phil ordered the duck prosciutto eggs benedict, which contains house-cured yarrow meadows duck breast prosciutto, poached eggs, english muffin, hollandaise sauce, & yukon nugget potato hash. He really enjoyed this dish!

Our friend ordered the braised short ribs eggs benedict, which contains braised short ribs, poached eggs, english muffin, hollandaise sauce & yukon nugget potato hash.

My friend and I ordered The Catch 122, which contains poached eggs, house-smoked and cured wild salmon, dill creme fraĆ®che, arugula, croissant & yukon nugget potato hash. AHHHH this was sooooo yummy! The pouched egg was perfectly made and the yolk drizzled out once I cut it open!
