Joyful Restaurant

Hey everyone!

So we're really behind on our blogs so here's another one to add to our Las Vegas Trip back in end of February. We are the type of family that gets food sick if it only consists of burgers and fries on a daily basis so of course we hunted down an old favourite of ours in Chinatown. We've been here a couple of years back and we remembered deeply that this place had amazing Chinese food. We decided to try taking an Uber Car down to the area and it only costs $10.00 for the ride. If you want to know more about our experience in an Uber Car or want to check out the interior of the restaurant, pls click into our Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT1vgaB7lCPwnLi2frd8TgA

California Pizza Kitchen

Hey everyone!

The last place we tried in Vegas was at the California Pizza Kitchen which was located in the airport. There were only a few options for food there so we decided to try this place out. They had other food other than pizza, but we decided to try their pizza since that is part of their restaurant title. They have the menu posted in front of the restaurant, so if you are not sure if you'll like the food options, you can always take a glance at what type of food they have first.

Shake Shack

Hey everyone!

Finally weekend and I can finally find some time to blog. After our one week vacation staying in Vegas and going back to work has been draining up all my energy because it's been CRAZY busy. As promised, the next few posts on our blog will be all dedicated to the restaurants we've tried in Las Vegas. I've noticed a lot of people go to Las Vegas but I don't see as many blogposts on Zomato as I would prefer. For Phil and I, we don't go club or anything so our main thing to do in Las Vegas was to relax and eat and get fat... but of course also find some time to workout :P

Vegas changes every several years because every single time when I go back, theres bound to be something different. This time around, the Shake Shack restaurant was opened at the New York New York Hotel. I was super excited because I've seen many photos on social media so I was super stoked to finally try it out!

So their ordering system is like a fast food chain, where you do the ordering at the counter and they give you a buzzer to let you know when the food is ready for pick up.

La Creperie - Las Vegas - Paris

Hey Everyone,

On the evening of day 1 in Vegas, Jess and I went exploring up the strip from Planet Hollywood, and we happened upon the Paris! It was so cool to see the Eiffel Tower there as it was actually going into the casino itself! We had looked up places to eat on our phones earlier, so we were looking to try out La Creperie, and with a little help from the directory we were able to find it!

Check it out as part of our day 1 vlog below!

Hash House a Go Go - Las Vegas - The Linq

Hey Everyone,

On day 5 of our Vegas trip, Jess and I hit up Hash House a Go Go for lunch/dinner while walking around the strip again. It was our last day and with limited time left, we had to try and cross off more from our list of must try places in Vegas.

Destination: Las Vegas- CUT

Want some major serious steak? They got it at the CUT.

limmerZ and I researched for the best fine dining in Vegas and we came to a conclusion to try out CUT in Palazzo. I didn't take any photos because the lights were too dim and I didn't want to act all asian taking photos of everything :P But I still want to mention about this place because it is a MAJOR MUST TRY place.

The service was amazing. Once we sat down, the waiter took out an Ipad, and thru the Ipad you can order your drinks there. Also, he provided excellent service from the beginning to end. Service is always a major MUST in my opinion, and I was very pleased with the service he provided.

Before our meal arrived, the waiter brought over some bread sticks and bread. They had a variety of bread options that we get to choose from. We got the garlic bread and the pretzel bread. The bread was no normal bread, it was extremely flavourful.

I ordered the New York Sirloin 14 Oz $56.00 from Washington. limmerZ got the American Wagyu/Rib Eye Steak 9 Oz $88.00. On the side we ordered Mac n Cheese ($19.00) and it was the BEST Mac n Cheese that I've ever tried. I'm not even exaggerating on this. It was SO flavourful and SO cheesy. No word can describe it, so just go try it for yourself! I highly recommend it.

This place is pretty pricey but for the quality you get, it is DEFINITELY worth the money. My steak was not bad but once I tried limmerZ steak, I was freaking out at how good it was. Next time I'm definitely going for that.

Service:
5/5

Food:

Price:

Overall Rating:

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)

Destination: Las Vegas- Coca Cola Store

So last time I've been to the Coca Cola store in Vegas was several years back and I swear they did not have this kind of option back then so I'm guessing its fairly new. I remember they had a station where they'll give you a sample of the original Coca Cola. This time when we went there, there was this option on the menu for $7.00 called around the world tray. We looked around and a few tables had trays of different versions of Coca Cola, looked pretty interesting so we got it as well. Also for $7.00,the amount they poured in to the cups are a pretty good amount. We couldn't finish all of them at the end because the air filled us up.

Destination: Las Vegas- Johnny Rockets

OMG! I just noticed I haven't blogged in 2 months already. It has been a busy 2 months. I apologize for being away so long. I just got back from Las Vegas today, just in time for new years back in home town Vancouver.

I just want to quickly blog about Johnny Rockets. I've heard many good things from limmerZ and he's always insisting to go every single time when we have a chance in the states. Finally this trip, we stopped by a Johnny Rockets and it was my first time trying it and I must say it was DELICIOUS.

There was a Johnny Rockets across from our hotel, I believe it was at Venetian? It was within a food court so there weren't any restaurant seatings, except for the bar seatings. I really like the theme of the restaurant, gives me this feeling as if I'm in Grease or something. LOL From the red seats to the mini juke boxes, I just really enjoyed eating there.
