Hey everyone!
Finally weekend and I can finally find some time to blog. After our one week vacation staying in Vegas and going back to work has been draining up all my energy because it's been CRAZY busy. As promised, the next few posts on our blog will be all dedicated to the restaurants we've tried in Las Vegas. I've noticed a lot of people go to Las Vegas but I don't see as many blogposts on Zomato as I would prefer. For Phil and I, we don't go club or anything so our main thing to do in Las Vegas was to relax and eat and get fat... but of course also find some time to workout :P
Vegas changes every several years because every single time when I go back, theres bound to be something different. This time around, the Shake Shack restaurant was opened at the New York New York Hotel. I was super excited because I've seen many photos on social media so I was super stoked to finally try it out!
So their ordering system is like a fast food chain, where you do the ordering at the counter and they give you a buzzer to let you know when the food is ready for pick up.

Shaughnessy
Hey Everyone,
A while ago Jess and I went to VanDusen Botanical Gardens to check it out, but we did not check out the restaurant that was there at the time. A little while later I was invited to lunch at the Shaughnessy restaurant, so it was a perfect opportunity to see how it was!
This restaurant is located as part of the VanDusen Gardens but on the side of the complex where their parking lot is located, so it is easily accessible, separate from the main lobby. They have a nice patio for the summertime, but we sat inside to avoid the bugs!
Their lunch menu isn't very extensive, which makes decision making a lot easier. I decided to go with a Seared Rare Albacore Tuna Burger $17.

Red Robin - Guildford
Hey Everyone,
To celebrate my touch football team's second win of our season, since we were in Surrey, we decided to have lunch at Red Robin! Now aside from the downtown location, Red Robin has almost completely disappeared from the Vancouver/Burnaby/Richmond area, so since we were somewhat near one after our game, why not give this place a visit!
It took quite a while to get us a table as we had a group of 9, so the wait was much longer than the other smaller groups waiting for a table. The restaurant was quite packed to our surprise, as the Guildford Town Centre area has a bunch of other dining options as well.
When we were finally seated, the tables we were given made it quite squishy for the 9 of us, so we requested for another table to be added to our existing set, and they accommodated us without any issues. Off to a good start in the service department!
For drinks, I had to start off with one of my favourites from back in the day when Red Robin used to be outside Metrotown beside Boston Pizza, the Very Berry Raspberry Limeade $4.69.

Nando's
Hey Everyone,
So believe it or not, I've never had Nando's in my life until recently! This blog is blogging 2 different Nando's that I recently went to.
I was in Surrey and met up with a good buddy for some dinner and thought hey, why not try some Nando's since I haven't tried it yet and heard it was pretty good.

I knew nothing about Nando’s before this except that they
specialize in chicken. I found out that it’s a place where you order at the
counter and pay first, and then they bring the food to your table when it’s
ready. Because of this setup, you have to prepay tip for the meal. My buddy
told me their sandwiches are pretty good too, but since this was my first time
here, I wanted to give their chicken a try since it should be their specialty.
I had the ¼ Chicken (Leg + Thigh) ($7.20) plus 1 Regular Side $9.85
The price in the brackets means the price it would have cost without the side.

Frites
Hello Food Family!
How ya'll doing? Today I'm back with another blog post on POUTINE. The combination of cheese, gravy & fries are just irresistible. I saw a voucher on social shopper a while back for this deal and I thought might as well give this place a try.
It is located in Downtown, Granville Street. Basically the clubbing street. They are opened from 11am-4am, so I'm assuming a lot of the night crawlers go there after a long night of pounding music and mass slurping on alcohol. I went there with my brother & Phil and we got there around 9pm.
First glance impression of the interior, small restaurant with minimal edge seating along the walls with high stools. There is one cashier and one main cook at the back. I was pretty shocked noticing the cashier actually had a chair to sit on. I'm not concerned or anything because I'm actually glad they know how tiring it can be standing all day, so might as well sit when there's no customers.
They had a pretty extensive menu considering they base it on just poutine. They don't just serve the classic poutine, they have some crazy versions such as Kimchi Frites, Okonomi Frites, & Pad Thai Frites. I really wanted to order those ones but we went for safer options and ordered Pulled Pork ($8.99) & Montreal Smoked Meat ($8.99)

Wally's Burgers
I've never heard of Wally's until limmerZ suggested this place one day for dinner. It's located in Killarney square and the parking lot has lots of room so parking should be no problem. The interior is nothing fancy but I guess it has it's own little style to match up with the logo and all. They basically don't have any tables but wall table seating (If you know what I mean).
When I was looking at the menu, they have a wide variety of burgers to choose from and it seriously took me a while till I decided on what to get.
