Pho D'lite

Hey Everyone,

So since recently finding out that there was no pho near my place, once I discovered that Pho D'lite would be opening up at Solo, I was thinking wow, someone is definitely taking advantage of the fact they will be the only pho restaurant in the Brentwood area!

The interior looked very modern, and rightfully so as it was a brand new restaurant. They had very unique chairs that didn't look very comfortable, but actually were.

Anh & Chi

Hey everyone!!!

Hope you all are enjoying the nice hot weather in Vancouver. Hopefully it rains a lot at Fort McMurray soon so it can stop the fire from spreading. If you guys have not donated to Red Cross to help out the people there yet, pls do so! Here is the link: http://www.redcross.ca/?_ga=1.77344918.2093509003.1462670469, Since we are not there to help out, I hope donating would help all the people there, especially the young families with kids.

So last week, my parents and I went to the newly opened vietnamese restaurant located on Main Street called Anh & Chi. All foodies have been checking this place out and posting tons of photos of their food and interior through all types of social media. This location previously was called Pho Hoang and they revamped the space and changed their name but the people are still the same. The mom is working in the kitchen and I believe her kids took over and changed it to this new modern space but still holds authentic dishes!

Pho 24 Express

Hey everyone!

Went for Pho a few weeks ago and we decided to check out Pho 24 Express in Burnaby. Initially we were in the Brentwood area but we were not successful finding a Pho restaurant around that area so we decided to drive near Metro and see what there is. We've been to Pho 24 Express before but that was a couple of years back so we didn't know what to expect. There's free parking on the side streets so definitely check there first before parking at the front (which is meter parking).

Pho Han

Hey Everyone,

So Pho Han is a pho place that we've passed by many times on Garden City but never got around to trying it, but we finally did!

Pho An Nam

Hey Everyone,

Richmond is full of pho restaurants, and so far my favourite has been Pho 37 but I'm always on the lookout for good pho restaurants that are closer than Ironwood. Jess suggested to try out Pho An Nam so off we went!

Wildleaf

Hey Everyone,

So after quite a wait for what would take over the previous location of Lung Kee at the Aberdeen Food Court, it turned out to be Wildleaf, a Vietnamese cuisine food court stall!

Pho TEN

Hi everyone,

There's literally so many pho options out there and the deciding factor for me to go back to a pho restaurant for a second time is purely based on soup base, atmosphere & the quantity in meat. I was never picky about Pho because I really thought they all taste the same... but after blogging so much and going to so many different restaurants within the past few years, I guess you can say I became a tad pickier. I'm not a professional food critic but I guess throughout these years, I can finally be 100% sure what i think is good and what's not.

We went to Pho Ten on a Friday night and surprisingly finding parking was not an issue. We stepped in for the first time coming to this Pho joint and it was very spacious and roomy. The space was very well lit with different light fixtures & tall side windows, nice wooden furniture's & it was clean.

Bao Chau

Hey Everyone,

Jess and I recently went to Bao Chau Vietnamese Restaurant prior to hitting up PNE. I've been here several times in the past, prior to blogging for Domo Is Craving, so I thought it'd be a good opportunity to check this place out again and blog about it!

In my opinion prior to blogging for Domo, Bao Chau had been one of my favourite pho places and I had considered it one of the best pho that I had tried at that point. Since blogging for Domo, my new favourite pho place has become Pho 37 so I was curious to see if this place will still remain one of my favourites.

Hai Phong Vietnamese Restaurant

Hey Everyone,

I recently had lunch at Hai Phong Vietnamese Restaurant in Vancouver on Kingsway with my buddy and as it was my first time dining here, I had to blog about it!

Since it was my first visit, I will almost always opt for pho to try their staple product. My friend got the house special, but I opted to go for the large Rare Beef and Beef Balls with Rice Noodle Soup $8.50.

Pho 37

Hey everyone!

The other day me and Phil were wandering around Ironwood specifically looking for either a sushi or a pho place to try out. Unfortunately one of the sushi restaurants were closed already so we ended up going to Pho 37. From the outside, you can tell it is a very small restaurant and it seems very dark, but the interior gave off a total different vibe. It is a very narrow restaurant but they utilized the space very well with booth and banquette seating and they have these big rounded light fixtures which really brightens the place up.

Phnom Penh

Okay, I'm probably one of the last few people who have never been to the famous Viet place in Vancouver. It's located in Chinatown and I seriously did not expect such an awesome place in Chinatown!
You guys may know I really like Vietnamese food by now since I post up quite a few viet places on my blog already. I can truly tell you this is my all time favourite viet place now. I usually never order the beef pho because I feel like all places tastes the same, nothing special about it. But omg there was just something about this one that made it taste extremely good. Now on the menu it does say Cambodian style beef noodle or something, so I'm guessing it has something to do with them incorporating the Cambodian style beef noodle with Vietnamese style Pho.

limmerZ got the dried noodles with beef. I thought it was pretty interesting, I still prefer my bowl of pho over this though. limmerZ liked it but I know he was eyeing for my beef noodle soup ;)

There's soup that comes on the side with the dried noodles.

Thai Son Restaurant

Who loves lemongrass chicken and rice?? I DO!!!!!!

After the disappointing news we got from Regional Tasting Lounge about the unavailable tables until 11pm on Friday, we had decided to go try out Thai Son Vietnamese Restaurant in Richmond. We went there pretty early, sometime before 6, so there were plenty of parking spots available for us. Thai Son is a restaurant on the second level of the building and if I did not hear about this place, I would've never noticed that this place existed.
