Day 1 in Vegas: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNVKeqPkeSU
So before we headed out to Vegas, we went to Pronto with a great friend of ours. Its located along Cambie and between 18th & 19th Avenue. Try finding parking at the back of the restaurant. They had a few along the alley way that was free parking after 6pm.
When we stepped into the restaurant, we waited approximately 5 minutes and nobody from their staff walked up to us to ask if we were helped. There were quite a few staff members that passed by us and we were totally ignored. Since it was our first time at this restaurant, I decided to walk up to the one at the cashier till and ask her if we seat ourselves or someone is supposed to help us. She seemed like she was trying to fix something in the till and answered with a quick no, we help you out. BUT she doesn't tell one of her staff to assist us..... So we were just standing in front of her for a few minutes, confused, not sure what to do...and then FINALLY a blonde lady from their staff team saw us and decided to ask if we were helped. We answered no, and she quickly brought us to a table at their back patio. Right off the bat, this place already gave poor service so I was really hoping the food will be MUCH better than their service.
Hey everyone!
New addition to the soft serve category, 720 Sweets has been all over social media lately. Everyone talks about the beautiful presentation and obviously the flavours.
When you first step in, it's a very narrow, linear type of shop. Not meant for ALOT of people, but if you go during prime dessert times, you'll find this place packed full of people. My friend and I went there super early so we basically had the whole place to ourselves. Watch us on Youtube, HERE.
There's free parking around the residential areas, which is only a block or 2 away from 720 Sweets.
Great saying on the wall which everyone would be able to relate !
Hey guys!
The other day I went to Yuu Japanese Tapas for dinner with my friends. It was a last minute decision so we had no clue what to expect from this restaurant.
I filmed my first ever food vlog! Check out our video HERE ! Pls comment & subscribe if you guys like it and follow us on YouTube if you want to follow us on our food adventures :)
We want to start vlogging our food adventures so it's more fun & you can actually check out the space & food in a more direct way other than photos!
Anyways, we were planning to go to a Japanese restaurant on Bridgeport but they actually close on Wednesdays, therefore we had to change up the location to Yuu Japanese Tapas. I've never been to this restaurant before nor have I ever heard anyone mentioning anything about this restaurant so we really didn't know what to expect.
After looking at the menu, we were all certain we wanted to get their Ramen. They had lots of options on their menu but the Ramen page really stood out among the other pages.
My friend got #44 Shio "Salt" Ramen in clear broth made with plenty of bone & veggie ($8.95)
