Royal Seafood Restaurant

Hey everyone!

My family always go for morning dimsums during the weekend. We always pass by Garden City and noticed there's a dim sum restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Garden City Plaza. One day we decided to give it a try! Surprisingly this place had no line up and we were directed to our seats right away. I love the fact how they are not fully packed because I hate waiting for a table. If you are in the centralized areas of Richmond, such as Aberdeen Centre, you are bound to wait in line. The interior was much nicer than I expected. The seats were covered in seat covers and they also had a little water, flower display up front that looked pretty fancy.

Below are some images I've took of the ordering sheet. Prices per dish is based on the size. On the top right purple corner it highlights how much each size costs. Small: $3.95, Medium: $4.50, Large: $5.50, Special: $6.25, and DX: $6.95.

For dimsum, we ordered our usuals.

The Deep Fried Taro Puff ($5.50)

Prawn Rice Rolls ($6.25)

Prawn Dumpling ($3.95)

Spareribs in Black bean sauce ($4.50)

Minced pork bean curd with abalone sauce ($5.50)

Beef Brisket Rice Roll Hot Pot ($8.75)

Hand shredded free range chicken ($8.75)

Overall everything tasted good and its a good place to come for family dimsum! The place is very clean and the service is very good as well! The waiters were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Also, theres tons of parking within the plaza.
